Maritime Investment · Private Capital

We build maritime businesses for private capital.

You invest.· We run ships.· You earn.

The asset class

A ship is a real asset that generates cash every day. Four reasons this asset class exists — and why it has stayed private for so long.

I

Real & tangible

Steel, not paper. You can board it, inspect it, use it.

II

A daily cash machine

Charter income is earned around the clock.

III

Private by nature

Ownership runs through your own company. Discreet, the way this industry has always worked.

IV

Open to any jurisdiction

International registries welcome owners from anywhere. No borders on who can own a ship.

What we do

Rent a vessel — the detail

How the trading model works.

  • We charter ships in and fix them on cargo — the spread is the profit.
  • Capital turns per voyage. You see each voyage's numbers.
  • Works across dry bulk and tankers, market to market.
  • Exit: wind down positions, capital returned.

Own a vessel — the detail

How ownership works.

  • Find the ship → set up the company → buy → operate → sell.
  • Your company owns the vessel. Income lands in its accounts.
  • Yearly: income, running costs, net — reported to you.
  • Exit: the ship is sold. You keep the proceeds.

In both models the asset sits in a company of your own.

About

A team out of commercial shipping.

Building maritime businesses for private capital.

Who we are

IDA Fleet is a shipping investment and vessel management company founded by a team of maritime professionals with combined experience across tanker operations, dry bulk trading, technical management, and international economics.

We built IDA Fleet around a simple idea: that private investors deserve direct access to the shipping market — with a team that knows how to source the right vessel, structure the deal, and run the business day to day. Our team brings hands-on experience in commercial and technical management, S&P transactions, cargo trading, and investment structuring. We have worked across wet bulk, dry bulk, and project cargoes — and across markets throughout the world.

What the team brings

Sourcing, valuing and closing the right vessel at the right point in the cycle.

III
